My name is Melissa Barnes and I am your host.  There are a few things I want to mention regarding our rental requirements and this to note so that you arrive prepared.   In order to offer our guests clean beautiful places to enjoy we must up hold to high standards, and we ask our guest to do the same.  So I am including a few things we want you to be aware of before your stay.

  • We require our guests to sign a rental agreement.  This is an acknowledgment of our house rules and explains our cancellation policies.
  • We require a fully refundable security damage deposit of $200 to $300 depending upon the rental you choose. Our retreat deposits are $600.  This deposit is a hold that is placed on the card you use at the time of booking.  This hold will be placed 48 hours before you check in and will be released 48 hours after check out provided no major damage has been done to the property.  We do not consider normal wear and tear damage.  If something breaks or is not working please notify us the minute it is discovered.  It is disappointing to discover unreported broken or damaged items after a guest checks out or another guests discovers them during there stay.  We understand that accidents happen.
  • We are a smoke free property.
  • We are not a pet friendly property.  We cannot risk the damage a dog can cause nor the dander that can trigger an allergic reaction.
  • Our cancellation policy is as follows:  100% refund if cancelled 30 days before check in.  50% if cancelled 14 days before check in and no refund after 14 days.
  • Please note that at the time of booking you should receive a house manual with everything you need to know about our home and how to check yourself in when you arrive.  The house guide is very useful.  It is advisable that you read it and down load it to your phone.  The properties have limited to no cell service but we do have WIFI and WIFI calling is accessible.
  • The remote location is one of the beautiful things about our properties.  We recommend that you arrive in a truck or an suv.   Guests have arrived in cars but it is not advisable.  The road to Nature's Loft is a gravel road.   It can be a little rough at times.  The road into The Creek Cabins at Brush Creek is also gravel. Mudita is mostly highway with a gravel driveway but it is steep.
  • If you need to make arrangements to pay for your booking in installments please let me know.  If you have any questions about our properties do not hesitate to reach out to me.  Thank you, we appreciate our guests very much.
